Second Annual Dine Around the Danforth

Discover the bounty on the Danforth! The Danforth Mosaic Business Improvement Association (DMBIA) presents the second annual three week foodies festival in the heart of the Danforth called Mosaic does… Dine around the Danforth. September 10-30 over 65 multicultural restaurants will be participating in this unique street event by featuring entertainment and significant discounts including prix fixe menus in their stores. Savour the best of Moroccan, Ethiopian, Greek, Italian, Hakka, Mexican, Thai and Tunisian cuisine, along with Sushi Bars, traditional diners and much more from around the world at excellent prices!

Join us for exceptional entertainment this September! Local jazz bars, some restaurants and clubs will also be offering a variety of live entertainment that includes musical performances.

The Mosaic does… Dine around the Danforth stretches from Jones Avenue to Westlake (two blocks east of Woodbine) along Danforth Avenue.

During the Dine Around there will be many specials taking place in our establishments.  In addition to the information on the microsite, participating restaurants may also offer other discounts.

Battle of the Bands

Join us on Saturday, September 10th, 2011 at Coxwell Parkette as we put on a battle of the bands to benefit Toronto’s East General Hospital.

How are we raising money?

We will be raising funds for Toronto East General Hospital.  The bands with the most votes (1 vote =$2.00)  will win the competition.  The funds are collected by the Foundation Office of Toronto East General Hospital and will directly benefit the capital campaign at TEGH.

In 1965 her family moved to Danforth and Woodbine and started City Flowers.  They lived above the flower shop until 2006.  In 2006 they moved and renovated their 3 story building creating two Fantastic Suites.  The Suites have 2 bedrooms and a third sleeping area in the den, hardwood floors and 9 feet ceilings.  Spacious Furnished Decks. The Suites will sleep up to 6 people per suite. Great for families or couples.   Fully furnished  with Contemporary furnishings and equipped with Linens, Towels, Kitchenware etc… On suite laundry in each suite.  Local telephone, Internet, Parking are all included. Smoke and pet free environment. They are located at Danforth and Woodbine .

Sandy has met so many wonderful people from all over the world, from places like Japan, Europe, Canada, USA, Dubai and many more countries!

She has had many past guests return to stay at the suites.

They welcome you to drop into the Flower Shop if you have any questions regarding the Suites.  They recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment.  Especially in the summer months and around the holidays.
